Greek Inspired Hummus Snack

A match made in the Mediterranean, hummus and Greek herbs were meant to be together. The key here is to start with a delicious, creamy hummus (Sabra’s Classic is our favorite) and high quality olive oil. You can stir the seed & oil mixture into the hummus, or leave it on top as garnish - it’ll be tasty either way!

Ingredients:

  • 2 Tbsp. Greek Inspired Seed Blend (Flax & Pumpkin) - divided

  • 2 tsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • 2 Tbsp. Kalamata Olives, roughly chopped (optional)

  • 1/2 Cup Classic Hummus

In a small bowl, combine 1 Tbsp. Greek Inspired Seed Blend with extra virgin olive oil and chopped Kalamata olives (if adding). Spread hummus in a shallow dish for dipping. Top hummus with seed & oil mixture, sprinkle the remaining 1 Tbsp. seed blend on top, and enjoy with fresh vegetables, pita chips, or a hearty bread.

This snack can easily fit a range of dietary needs. Use full-fat greek yogurt instead of hummus for a lower-carb option, and stick to fresh vegetables or rice crackers to keep it gluten free!
